BRAINTREE, Mass. (AP) - If you won 20 million dollars, would you finish out your shift? Judith Zahn did. She’s been a nurse for more than 30 years at the veterans hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts. Wednesday night, she learned she had won 20 mil in the state Lottery’s “Star Spangled Sweepstakes.” But she didn’t let her new fortune go to her head. She stayed at work several more hours to finish her shift. Zahn says being an instant millionaire “just feels very bizarre.” Zahn isn’t sure what she’s going to do with the 14 million she’ll pocket after taxes. But she is buying a new car to replace her 1994 Volvo.
